WaterWorks-Hydro chronicles my backyard hydroponic journey. The goal is to keep track of my adventures in hydroponics and to help others see that creating their own hydroponic garden can be done at a very reasonable cost and without a lot of expertise.

I’m starting these posts about 2 years into hydroponics. I’ve learned lots, and continue to learn more with each passing day. I also like experimenting with various methods of growing vegetables with hydroponics both inside the greenhouse and outside, horizontal and vertical systems, bought commercially and home-made.

My name is Bruce Gee and I live in Palo Alto, CA with my lovely wife Jane, two dogs (Dixie and Joey). We have two great kids (Kirby & Keri) that have recently graduated from college. I’m grateful that my family is supportive of my crazy hydroponic hobby.
